 RFIT Paper Submission

Submission Guidelines

  • Initial paper submissions
It is requested that authors submit an English, A4-size THREE-page preliminary paper based on the IEEE conference word or LaTeX templates. Papers should be uploaded in PDF format. It is imperative to note that all submitted papers will undergo a peer-review process. The Technical Program Committee (TPC) will make the final decision, and accepted papers will be designated as either oral or poster presentations. The IEEE template (A4 size) for conference proceedings is available at https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates
    Microsoft Word A4 Template
  • Final paper submissions
Authors should check PDF compatibility at IEEE PDF eXpress before submission. (Details for the PDF check compatibility will be provided in due course.) Final papers should be up to three pagers in English. Final papers will be uploaded to IEEE Xplore if their authors will be presenting at the conference.
  • Submission Policies
IEEE mandates that authors submit original work that has neither been published elsewhere nor is under review for another publication. Authors are required to disclose any prior publications and current submissions when submitting an article. This ensures the integrity of the publication process and avoids issues related to multiple submissions or prior publication.

Student Paper Contest

The purpose of the Student Paper Contest is to reward students for exceptional work and consider group projects as well as individual projects. The RFIT Student Paper Contest provides students with the opportunity to share their work and discuss their results with experts from industry and academia. The following rules apply for participating at the Student Paper Contest:

  • First author must be a student (a full time or a part time). A letter is required from major advisor (Professor) stating that the first author is a registered full-time student or part-time student and has done a substantial portion of the work. Failure to provide this letter will result in disqualification.
  • Number of authors on the paper: No limit, including outside authors. Outside authors are defined as co-authors from industry or from other institutions (government labs, other universities, etc.). The outside authors are included to encourage group-project submissions. The review committee will consider the number of authors vs. the level of work presented in the paper in order not to penalize the individual project submissions.
  • All students wishing to participate in the contest are required to follow the regular submission process for papers including registration. Please check the checkbox during the submission process for being considered in the contest.
